The Golden Nugget in Astrology

Hey everyone,
Today I'm here to share with you the big secret of astrology. As my astral grandma, Dona Emy, used to say, Astrology is simple: there are only 12 signs! And the true golden nugget lies precisely there, because these 12 energies, or signs, are the foundation of all astrological knowledge.
When you deeply understand the energy of each sign, it becomes much easier to connect the possible combinations in a birth chart. These 12 energies are linked to the 10 planets – yes, 10 planets, because in Astrology, the Sun and Moon are also considered planets, as "planet" refers to a moving celestial body.
For Astrology, Pluto is also a planet. We have the Sun connected with Leo, the Moon with Cancer, Mercury with Gemini and Virgo, Venus with Libra and Taurus, Mars with Aries, Jupiter with Sagittarius, Saturn with Capricorn, Uranus with Aquarius, Neptune with Pisces, and Pluto with Scorpio.
It's worth remembering that Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are planets of contemporary astrology. In the past, these planets weren't known, and therefore Mars influenced Aries and Scorpio, Jupiter influenced Pisces and Sagittarius, and Saturn influenced Aquarius and Capricorn. After the discovery of the new planets, Aquarius, Pisces, and Scorpio gained an additional ruling planet, and the older ones became co-rulers.
Understanding the Houses and Aspects
Besides the planets, we have the Astrological Houses. Just as each sign is associated with a planet, each sign is also associated with an Astrological House. There are 12 signs and 12 Astrological Houses. House 1, for example, represents the "self," my things, my style, how I assert and express myself in the world, and it's associated with the sign of Aries. House 2 is linked to the sign of Taurus, and so on.
For those who followed my post "Coffee & Astrology: An Unexpected Lesson", I also talked about aspects, which are the connections a planet makes with another in the Birth Chart, measured in degrees. Aspects are associated with the energies of the signs: the Conjunction is linked to Aries, the Sextile to Gemini and Aquarius, the Square to Cancer and Capricorn, the Trine to Leo and Sagittarius, and the Opposition to Libra.
Astrology is simple, with only 12 signs. A good understanding of these energies gives us essential knowledge to explore all other possible combinations.
If you enjoyed discovering the golden nugget of astrology, leave a comment! I'd love to hear your thoughts.
With love,
Kim Bins
