Know Thyself: A Journey of Self-Discovery Through Astrology

Hey everyone!
I'm here today to share a little about the importance of self-discovery. In previous posts, I've talked about Astrology as a cosmic language and how astrologers are its translators, interpreting the celestial movements. This universal language is translated into Astrology and then into specific languages like our own, allowing us to understand the synchronicity between cosmic and earthly events.
I've also mentioned how the Natal Chart can be compared to a seed, containing all the potential for growth and development. But that development depends on the seed being planted in the right soil, watered, and cared for. In this way, the Natal Chart reveals our potentials, and it's up to us to develop them through our choices and free will, becoming more and more of who we came here to be.
I often present Astrology as a tool, but a tool for what? It's a tool for self-discovery. A famous quote attributed to Socrates, the great Greek philosopher, is "Know thyself," which was inscribed at the Oracle of Delphi. As a Sagittarius who loves to travel, I had the opportunity to visit the Oracle of Delphi during a trip to Greece in 2018.
When we travel to a new place, what's the first thing we do? We usually grab a map to identify the places we want to visit, the best routes, and accommodations near tourist spots and local transport. In this situation, the map guides and directs us so we can get to know that particular city.
Just as we have a map for an external journey, we have a map for an internal journey of self-discovery: the Natal Chart!
The Natal Chart is like a guide that shows 12 astrological houses, representing different areas of our lives, such as work, relationships, family, spirituality, health, and quality of life. It reveals how we experience these areas, what planetary energies and influences are at play, and how we communicate, express affection, handle responsibilities, assert ourselves, show up in the world, make decisions, and manage our emotions.
Here on the blog and on my social media, I invite you to embark on an inner journey through Astrology and your Birth Chart. And as an astrologer, I can be your guide!
