The flower essence series is going strong over here — and today, we're going to talk about Saturn, the planet that teaches us about boundaries, time, responsibility, and building.
Saturn is the one that invites us to mature, to create solid structures for our lives, and to understand that important things are built step by step. Brick by brick. It speaks of discipline, self-sufficiency, and the wisdom that comes with time.
When we are in harmony with Saturn's energy, we can commit to our goals, stay focused, and respect the natural cycles of each process. But when out of balance, this planet can harden us — bringing excessive self-criticism, rigidity, judgment, and a certain bitterness. And this is where the Beech flower essence, from the Bach system, comes in.
Beech: Tolerance and Flexibility
Beech is a flower essence that softens. It helps to dissolve that tendency toward harsh criticism — both of others and ourselves. A person who needs this essence often has a very rigid view of the world, demanding perfection and getting irritated by the flaws of others (and their own).
Saturn, when in excess, can make everything feel heavier. And Beech comes to bring a little lovingness amidst the hardness: it invites us to see with more empathy, to cultivate tolerance, and to recognize the value of imperfections.
The Balance that Beech Provides
When out of balance: Rigidity, judgment, impatience, intolerance of others and oneself, a tendency toward isolation, difficulty accepting the rhythm of life.
When in harmony: Inner flexibility, tolerance, loving wisdom, a sense of justice with compassion, and the ability to build with consciousness and lightness.
Structuring with Love
In my Therapeutic Astrology sessions, I like to combine the insights of astrology with the subtlety of flower essences to address issues like discipline, healthy boundaries, self-care, and emotional maturity. The sessions are monthly and support you through your growth cycles — with depth, but also with a sense of welcome.
