New Year's Eve Style Guide: Your Zodiac Sign's Lucky Color (Part 2)

Here we are in the last week of the year, possibly with a few things still on our minds... but what to wear for New Year's won't be one of them after this post!

Last week, we talked about the energy of colors associated with the signs of Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo. To complete our zodiacal mandala and help you choose the color for this new year, let's move on to the signs of Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

Libra - Earth Tones, Blue, and Baby Pink

Libra, like Taurus, is ruled by Venus, the goddess of love and beauty. It's a sign that seeks harmony, balance, love, and cooperation. To acknowledge the importance of others in your life, and to develop affection, partnerships, diplomacy, perspective, and thoughtfulness, opt for earth tones, as well as blue and baby pink, colors associated with the goddess of love.

Scorpio - Dark Red or Brown

Scorpio has a dual rulership of Mars and Pluto. We saw in the previous post that Mars is the warrior god; the new one here is Pluto, the god of the underworld, transformation, and regeneration. It's a sign of intensity, depth, and the possibility of discovering our hidden treasures. At the same time, it speaks of intimacy, sexuality, and creativity. To express sensuality, strength, and the ability to deepen relationships, choose dark red or brown.

Sagittarius - Royal Blue or Purple

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the god of justice and fertility. This sign seeks personal evolution and growth with optimism, joy, and faith in life. To gain focus and determination for your goals and ambitions, live new adventures, seek new experiences, and expand your geographical, intellectual, or spiritual horizons, choose royal blue or purple.

Capricorn - Black or Gray

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the god of time. This sign is associated with discipline, perseverance, and building solid ambitions. To gain clarity on which mountain you want to climb and make the necessary sacrifices to get there—embodying the prudence, solidity, and determination of this sign—choose black or gray.

Aquarius - Black, Gray, or Electric Blue

Aquarius has a dual rulership of Saturn and Uranus. As we've seen, Saturn is the god of time; the new one here is Uranus, the god of creativity. This sign is associated with originality, innovation, and friendship. To connect with a visionary, creative power and the courage to go against the grain, choose black, gray, or electric blue. Choose these colors also if you want to invest in the collective, in social relationships, and in humanitarian values.

Pisces - Purple, Royal Blue, or Sea Green

Pisces also has a dual rulership of Jupiter and Neptune. We've seen that Jupiter is the god of justice and fertility, and the new one here is Neptune, the god of the seas and oceans. This sign represents spirituality, sensitivity, empathy, intuition, and imagination. To express your connection to the divine and develop the ability to contemplate life and have compassion for others, choose purple, royal blue, or sea green.

Now, what does it mean if you choose to wear White?

Sometimes, White is associated with the Moon and the sign of Cancer, along with the color Silver. At the same time, White is the combination of all the light colors in the visible light spectrum. When white light passes through a prism, you see it split into a rainbow of different colors and frequencies. Since White is the source that emanates the frequency of all other colors, I like to think of White as the entire zodiacal mandala, the combination of all energies and frequencies.

Now that you can better understand the characteristics of each sign, the colors, and which energies they emanate, choosing the right color for the turn of the year just got easier and more intentional, didn't it?!
