Harmony and Balance: Therapeutic Suggestions for Libra

On September 22, 2024, the Sun enters Libra, where it will remain until October 22, 2024. This period highlights energies of harmony, balance, and a search for justice, reflecting the spirit of this Venus-ruled sign. It's an ideal time to focus on relationships, promote diplomacy, and appreciate beauty and art. The scales of Libra invite us to seek a middle ground, pursuing inner peace, cooperation, and harmony in our relationships and the environment around us.
And how can we make the most of this season? Here are some therapeutic suggestions to attune yourself to the energy of Libra:
Connect with the Air Element: Libra is an Air sign, and breathing is essential for its energy to flow. Breathe deeply, preferably outdoors, to energize yourself. The regular practice of breathing exercises can help balance your emotions and thoughts.
Cultivate Self-Love: Ruled by Venus, Libra seeks love and harmony, but it's important to remember that the first step to creating healthy relationships is self-love. Dedicate time to yourself by practicing self-care and recognizing your value.
Seek Inner Harmony: Aesthetics and balance are fundamental to Libra. Work to harmonize your inner energy by creating peace within yourself. Practices like yoga and meditation can be very helpful in this process, assisting in balancing body, mind, and spirit.
Integrate Polarities: Libra symbolizes the scales, the balance between "Self" and "Other," between intuition and reason, between light and shadow. Acknowledge and integrate the polarities in your life, understanding that true balance comes from accepting and integrating all aspects of your being.
Meditation to Attune to Libra Energy
Find a comfortable position. Close your eyes, relax your facial muscles, and observe your breath, inhaling and exhaling deeply through your nose. Bring your attention to your second chakra, located at the sacrum, and visualize an orange point of light radiating from this area. This energy center is related to self-esteem, self-love, pleasure, and how we relate to others. Connect with this chakra, placing your most positive intentions there, and take five deep breaths.
Next, visualize this light moving up to the center of your chest, to the fourth chakra, which is green. This chakra is the connection point between the lower, more material chakras and the upper, more spiritual ones, and is related to unconditional love. Connect with this chakra, placing your most positive intentions there, and take five more deep breaths.
Finally, visualize these lights integrating and spreading throughout your entire body. Repeat the Libra mantra three times: "I connect, I relate, I balance." Open your eyes and feel great!
